Development roadmap

From a field diary
to field-tested intelligence.

Each stage has a question to answer before we move forward. Our first: can a simple diary fit the way farmers actually work?

Prototype development & pilot preparation

Working app screens are in place. We are refining the product, preparing farmer conversations and deciding where a first pilot is feasible.

In place: development app screens and a tested backend foundation.

Still ahead: connected core workflows, farmer interviews and pilot selection.

01 · Current stage

Make field recording useful.

Connect and test the core workflows, understand farmers’ record-keeping habits, and define a small pilot with clear support and consent.

Before the next stage: a usable pilot build, an agreed pilot scope, and farmers willing to test it.

02 · Next

Learn from a real season.

Observe which records farmers keep, which steps interrupt their work, and which questions the diary helps them revisit.

Before the next stage: documented feedback and field evidence strong enough to guide product decisions.

03 · Later

Investigate crops and farm economics.

Develop tools around validated needs. Preserve source, crop context and uncertainty so farmers can understand the basis of an answer.

Before the next stage: evaluated tools, clear limitations, and evidence that they are useful in practice.

04 · Long-term research

Translate useful knowledge into automation.

Research sensing, navigation and robotic workflows where the task, operating conditions and farmer benefit are well understood.

Research gate: a field-defined problem and a feasible, measurable approach to solving it.

Stages describe our direction, not promised launch dates. Timing depends on farmer feedback, technical readiness and validation.
