Your information, with a clear purpose.
Version 1.5, 14 October 2026. This notice explains how KishKam Robotics Lab handles website enquiries about the KishKam Field pilot, partnerships and research collaboration.
What we collect
We ask for your name, phone number or email, preferred language, interest, and consent to contact you. State, district, crops, farm size, your message, organisation and collaboration topic are optional. We do not ask for precise farm coordinates or sensitive farm information at this enquiry stage.
Why we collect it
We use enquiry information to respond, understand pilot interest, and discuss the partnership or research purpose you select. An enquiry does not enrol you in research, give permission to collect farm observations, or subscribe you to marketing.
Storage and service providers
The website is hosted by Netlify. Enquiry submissions are processed by Netlify serverless functions in Ohio, USA, and stored in a private PostgreSQL database provided by Neon in its AWS Singapore region. Notification emails are delivered to kishkamroboticslab@gmail.com through Google Gmail. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions to reduce spam. Enquiry information is therefore processed outside India. Google, Cloudflare and Netlify may also process technical information in other countries as part of providing their services.
GitHub Actions runs an additional daily database cleanup independently of the website host. The workflow connects to Neon to remove expired records and does not intentionally retrieve or export enquiry contents. GitHub processes workflow execution information and logs, and its runner infrastructure may operate outside India.
Who can access enquiries
Within KishKam, access is limited to the founder, Kirankumar Malothu, and one authorised team member who help respond to enquiries and maintain the service. Service providers process information as needed to operate these services. Website visitors cannot access other people’s enquiries. General enquiries and privacy requests go to kishkamroboticslab@gmail.com.
Retention
We retain website enquiries for 30 days from submission. Expired database records are removed by the next daily database cleanup. Signed website notification emails, including matching sent and received copies, are permanently removed by a separate daily Gmail cleanup after expiry. When both daily jobs run successfully, deletion occurs within one day after the 30 day period ends. Delays or failed runs require follow-up; deletion is not guaranteed at the exact moment of expiry.
We do not download or export enquiry records to spreadsheets or other files. Automated Gmail cleanup does not remove unsigned older notifications, forwarded copies in other accounts or enquiry details quoted in replies; these require separate handling under the same retention period. Deleting an active database record does not immediately erase provider recovery history or backups. Our Neon production branch currently has a six-hour restore-history window, with no snapshots or snapshot schedule configured. This is a recovery setting, not a guarantee that every provider-held copy is erased within six hours. If a database is restored, expired enquiries must be removed again before it is used for enquiry handling. If you join a pilot or enter a partnership, we will explain any additional data collection and retention separately before proceeding.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit the form. To withdraw contact consent, request deletion or ask a privacy question, email kishkamroboticslab@gmail.com. Provide only the enquiry reference or contact detail needed to locate the record.
Website services
The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Cloudflare and Netlify may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details. The Netlify dashboard currently provides 24-hour retention for function logs; this does not describe the retention of every provider-held technical record. We do not intentionally record enquiry contents in application logs. No advertising trackers or audience analytics are configured in this version.
Appearance preference
Your theme choice is saved only in this browser so the website can use your preferred appearance on later visits. Choosing System removes the saved choice and follows your device settings. This preference does not identify you and is separate from enquiry records.
